Glenfiddich
Glenfiddich is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky owned and produced by William Grant and Sons in Dufftown, Scotland. Glenfiddich means βValley of the Deer' in Scottish Gaelic, hence the presence of a stag symbol on Glenfiddich bottles.
Glenfiddich is the world's best-selling single-malt whisky and also the most awarded at the International Spirits Challenge
Glenlivet
The Glenlivet distillery is a distillery near Ballindalloch in Moray, Scotland that produces single malt Scotch whisky. It is the oldest legal distillery in the parish of Glenlivet, and the production place of the Scottish whisky of the same name. It is described in packaging and advertising as "The single malt that started it all". It was founded in 1824 and has operated almost continuously since.
Laphroaig
Laphroaig distillery is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky distillery. It is named for the area of land at the head of Loch Laphroaig on the south coast of the Isle of Islay. The meaning of the toponym is unknown, but a commonly suggested etymology includes the elements "lag" (Gaelic: hollow), "breid" (Norse: broad) and "vik" (Norse: bay), implying an original Gaelic form something like "Lag BhrΓ²dhaig" (the hollow of Broadbay).
Highland Park
Highland Park distillery is a Scotch whisky distillery based in Kirkwall, Orkney. It is the most northerly whisky distillery in Scotland, half a mile farther north than that at Scapa distillery.
Highland Park has performed well at international spirit ratings competitions. Its 25-year single malt scotch, for example, received double gold medals at the 2007 and 2009 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Jack Daniels
Jack Daniel's is a brand of Tennessee whiskey and the top selling American whiskey in the world. It is produced in Lynchburg, Tennessee, by the Jack Daniel Distillery, which has been owned by the Brown-Forman Corporation since 1956. Despite being the location of a major operational distillery, Jack Daniel's home county of Moore is a dry county, so the product is not available for purchase at stores or restaurants within the county.
Makers Mark
Maker's Mark is a small-batch bourbon whiskey produced in Loretto, Kentucky, by Beam Suntory. It is bottled at 90 U.S. proof (45% alcohol by volume) and sold in distinctively squarish bottles sealed with red wax.The distillery offers tours, and is part of the American Whiskey Trail and the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.
